Golf Day 2008

 

The 2008 annual Horton Kirby Cricket club golf society took place this year at the Kent National golf club

in Brenchley near Paddock Wood on Friday 18th April. 32 players took part this year and was 

enjoyed by everyone involved.  
 
This years winner was Neil Pooley who scored 44 stableford points playing off a 25 handicap.
Second place with 29 points on count back was Peter Taylor playing off 24. Last place went to society debutant

Julian Gower who managed 13 points playing of 26. 
 
Nearest the pin on hole number 2 was won by Lewis Hever (2 handicap). Longest drive on the 18th hole was

again won by Paul Fordred. (15 handicap). Next year will be the seventh year of the society and will again

take place in April at a different course. Keep a check on the website for details.
