Belhus 128

Horton Kirby ll 228

Winning the toss Horton Kirby decided to bat on what looked like a good batting track.  Despite a quick start from J England (24) on his debut wickets started to fall and HKCC were at one stage 58-4 but with an superb knock from R Ovenden (54) and G Watts an excellent (76) put on a partnership of 117 and with the help from the lower order they finally reached a total of 228 for 9.

M Hills (1-30) R Wickens (1-25) got the early breakthrough restricting Belhus to 55 in the first 16 overs of this 40 over match. This was then followed up by display of good attacking bowling by P Gascoin (3-20)and B Waine (3-18) with the support of dynamic fielding by the HKCC team finally brought Belhus innings to an end at 128 all out in the 32nd over.
